장점

We've already checked out Klipsch's The Three Bluetooth speaker,and now we'll take a look at its more affordable, smaller sibling, the One. At$299, The One still isn't cheap, but it's far less expensive than The Three,and it still manages to deliver excellent audio and look good doing it. Well,it looks good if you're after a classy retro design—less so if the modern Scandinavian look is your thing.
예전에 클립쉬 더 쓰리 블루투스 스피커를 리뷰한 적이 있다. 이와 비슷하지만 조금 더 저렴한 가격에 크기가 작은 자매품을 살펴보자.
바로 더 원 스피커이다. 더 원도 아주 저렴한 가격은 아니지만, 더 쓰리 스피커보다는 낮은 가격대에 책정되어 있다.
더 저렴한 가격이지만 외관상 아주 멋있고 오디오적으로도 탁월한 음질을 자랑한다. 글쎄, 현대적인 스칸디나비아 룩까지는 아니더라도
전형적인 레트로 디자인을 좋아하는 사람이라면 더 원 역시 마음에 들어 할 거다.
But the copper knobs and wood highlights have a classic feel to them, and the audio performance is impressive, with rich lows and detailed highs. This price range has plenty of great options, with The One standing in the front. It earns our Editors' Choice award.
더 원은 외관상 구리색 레버와 원목의 재질감으로 더욱 더 클래식해 보이며,

하지만 더 원 스피커를 선택할 수밖에 없을 것이다.

Design
디자인
The One measures roughly 6.2 by 12.7 by 5.3-inches and weighs a hefty 8.5 pounds, with top and bottom panels covered in an eye-catching wood veneer (available in Ebony or Walnut). The front face is all cloth speaker grille, with the old-school Klipsch logo in the upper-right corner. The cloth grille wraps around the speaker completely, and the entire system rests on wooden stands with rubberized feet. The speaker is portable in the room-to-room sense—it's far too large to throw in a backpack, and it certainly wouldn't fare well in a potentially wet outdoor location.
더 원의 크기는 32.2 x 15.56 x 13.3cm(WHD)이며 무게는 약 3.86kg이다. 에보니 (검정), 월넛 (갈색) 색상 2가지 옵션이 제공되고
위아래 표면 모두 눈을 사로잡는 우드 비니어로 마감되어 있다. 오른쪽 상위에 올드스쿨 느낌의 클립쉬 로고가 새겨져 있으며
전면이 그릴로 덮여 있다. 이 천 느낌의 그릴로 스피커 전체가 보호되고, 맨아래 발 부분 역시 고무 처리되어 있다.
더 원은 휴대가 가능하지만 백팩 가방에 넣기에는 부피가 큰 편이다. 야외용으로 쓰기에는 상황에 따라 약간 부적합할 수도 있을 거라 본다.
Behind the grilles, The One delivers audio through dual 2.3-inch full-range driver sand a single 4.5-inch woofer.
The internal amp pushes out 30 watts of continuous power (and 50 watts peak power).
그릴 외에도, 더 원 스피커는 2.3인치 풀 레인지 드라이버와 4.5인치 싱글 우퍼를 채용했다.
내장 앰프는 최고 50와트 출력에, 30와트 출력을 자랑한다.
Up top, there's a control panel with a copper Powerswitch and two knobs for Source and Volume. The volume works independently of,not in conjunction with, your mobile device's master volume levels. Status LED slet you know when The One is turned on, when the battery is running low, and whether it's connected to a Bluetooth or wired Aux input source (a 3.5mm audio cable is included). With only two possible options, it might have made more sense for the Source dial to be as witch, but who cares? It looks cool.
더 원 스피커 윗부분에는 구리색의 전원 스위치와 소스, 볼륨 조절이 가능한 손잡이가 달려있다.
이 제어판에서는 연결된 스마트 기기와는 별도로 볼륨을 높이고 줄일수 있다. LED 불빛으로 전원의 켜짐/꺼짐 상태, 배터리 상태,
블루투스 및 Aux 입력 상태 (패키지 내 3.5mm 케이블이 포함되어 있음) 등을 알 수 있다. 비록 Aux와 블루투스 이 2개의 입력만
확인할 수 있지만 이게 뭐 대수일까? 그래도 더 원은 쏘쿨!
The Aux input is located on another copper panel on the back, along with the connection for the included AC adapter. Connecting a device via the cable and switching to the Aux input doesn't kill the Bluetooth connection if you have a device paired, so you can switch back and forth.
Aux 입력은 뒷면 패널의 AC 어댑터 옆에 있다. 케이블로 기기를 연결하고 Aux 입력으로 변환하더라도 페어링이 되어있는
모바일 기기에서는 블루투스 연결이 끊어지지 않으므로, 변환이 자유롭다.
Klipsch estimates The One's battery life to be roughly eight hours, but your results will vary with your mix of wired and wireless playback, as well as your volume levels.
더원은 약 8시간 재생의 배터리 수명을 가지고 있지만, 유, 무선 재생 시간과 볼륨 정도에 따라 사용 시간이 달라질 수 있다.
Performance
퍼포먼스
The One can get exceptionally loud for a speaker this size. With an iPhone 6s at 75percent volume, the speaker delivers impressively powerful audio. At even half volume on the iPhone 6s and full volume on the speaker, the audio is quite loud, and full of rich bass response.
더 원은 본 크기에 비해 이례적으로 큰 소리를 출력한다. 아이폰6s에서 75%만큼의 볼륨을 설정하면, 더 원은 매우 강렬한 소리를 뿜어낸다.
아이폰6s에서 50% 볼륨 설정, 더 원 스피커에서는 최대 볼륨을 설정해 놓으면 꽤 크고도 깊이 있는 저역대를 경험할 수 있다.
On tracks with intense sub-bass content, like The Knife's "Silent Shout," The One delivers a palpable thump. It is possible to cause distortion here, but this is primarily because the volume level on the knob isn't in sync with your mobile device's volume, and thus you can end up really cranking the drivers. You can still listen to this track with no distortion whatsoever at very loud levels,so we won't knock the distortion that much. It only appears when the volume is ear-splitting.
강렬한 서브 베이스가 깔린 더 나이프의 “Silent Shout” 같은 노래를 들어보면 뚜렷한 쿵쿵 소리를 들을 수 있다.
가끔 왜곡된 음이 들리기도 하는데 연결된 기기의 볼륨과 스피커에 볼륨 레버와 싱크가 안 맞아서다.
그래도 아주 큰 볼륨으로 음악을 청취할 수 있기 때문에 이 정도의 왜곡은 신경 쓰지 않기로 했다. 이러한 왜곡 현상은
귀청 떨어지는 볼륨대에서만 일어난다.
Conclusion
마무리하며
For $300,there are some solid options in the Bluetooth speaker realm. While Klipsch's The One may be limited in a few areas—no onboard playback controls, the (very minor) issue of distortion we touched on—it's still a simple, easy-to-operate,excellent-sounding speaker that looks great. There's no app or any added functionality beyond what's already obvious, so it isn't the most flexible speaker out there. But we're happy to give it our Editors' Choice award for those who really just want great Bluetooth audio in a handsome design.
지금 시장에는 30만원대의 웬만한 블루투스 스피커들이 많이 있다. 클립쉬 더 원 스피커는 스피커 자체에 재생 시작/멈춤 기능이 없다는 점과
위에서 얘기한 아주 사소한 왜곡 문제만 빼면 다루기 쉽고 디자인, 음악적으로 훌륭한 초이스다.
호환 가능한 앱이 없고 기능적으로 추가할 만한 옵션이 없기 때문에 융통성 있는 스피커라고는 할 수 없다.
하지만 우리는 클립쉬 더 원 스피커에 “Editors' Choice” 상을 수여 했다. 잘빠진 디자인에 이런 엄청난 블루투스 스피커는 없다고
생각하기 때문이다.
